Dr. Ani Thampi is a dedicated and compassionate Associate Professor in the Department of General Medicine, boasting a strong academic background and clinical experience. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care, Dr. Ani joined the BCMCH team following a successful tenure as Junior Consultant at Lisie Hospital.

A distinguished alumnus of the Govt. Medical College, Salem, Dr. Ani earned her MD in General Medicine with a Gold Medal in 2018, preceded by her MBBS from Govt. Medical College, Thrissur in 2013. She has also augmented her expertise by completing a Post Graduate Program in Cardiology from the esteemed John Hopkins University of Medicine and MESF.

Notably, Dr. Ani was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Salem District Collector for her exemplary management of the Critical Care Unit during the Dengue Epidemic, achieving remarkably low mortality rates.
